Current News:

The Core strives to accommodate a 24 hr turn-around-time from the receipt of the samples but sometimes circumstances arise that cause delays. We ask for your patience and understanding in times when there may be a delay and know that we are working diligently to adhere to our expected 24 hr expectation. Thanks so much for your continued support and use of the DF DNA Resource Core.

When submitting less than 96 samples, please cut the 96-well plate to fit the number of samples you are submitting. This makes our process much easier. You can also submit samples in the small PCR Strip tubes as well. Please try to conserve the 96-well plates rather than submitting 4 samples on an entire 96-well plate.

We currently offer the following DNA-related services
  • Large and small-scale DNA Sequencing
  • DNA Preparation in advance of DNA Sequencing
  • Plasmid Storage and Distribution using an automated, quality-controlled freezer storage system supported by the Plasmid Information Database
