What's New at the DNA Resource Core Sequencing Facility?
- NEW DROP OFF LOCATION: We now pick up sequencing samples from NRB Room 331 instead of room 223.
- The DF/HCC DNA Resource Core has been awarded a 2008 Team Award from the Harvard Medical School. The HMS Team Award acknowledges a group of individuals who have worked together to complete a specific project or body of work that exceeds expectations and/or demonstrates excellence in team work. This award acknowledges their tireless work in supporting hundreds of labs across Boston, as well as worldwide, with their services. They were one of four groups at Harvard Medical School to receive this award this year! Congratulations team!
- Li Chan has been named the new Core Coordinator of the DNA Resource Core Facility. She has been an outstanding research technician for the past two years. She brings extensive sequencing knowledge and expertise to her new position.
- The Core strives to accommodate a 24 hr turn-around-time from the receipt of the samples but sometimes circumstances arise that cause delays. We ask for your patience and understanding in times when there may be a delay and know that we are working diligently to adhere to our expected 24 hr expectation.
